OLG Spirit Day is Thursday, May 12. Students may wear an OLG shirt or sports jersey this day with uniform pants, shorts, or plaids.
Field Day & Hot Dog Day – Friday, May 13th Dunk-a-Teacher – Mrs. Corona, Mrs. Justice, Mrs. Davis, Ms. Hillstrom, Ms. Rode, and Mrs. Neeson will sit beneath the Dunk Bucket during lunch time. If your child wants an opportunity to drop a bucket of water on their heads, the cost is $1.00 for two throws. Pre-sale tickets are available now until Thursday afternoon. All proceeds go to the Hearts for Haiti Ministry. Send the money to the office with Dunk a Teacher written on the envelope, please.
A big “THANK YOU” – The OLG school staff is thoroughly enjoying this week’s Staff Appreciation Week and thank all the parents and students involved. In particular, we would like to thank Diane and Pete Newett with diversified Pools and Gallagher’s Pizza. Shout out to Wendy Scott for coordinating. We are all feeling very spoiled!
Thank You for your generous donations for our last Faith Filled Friday. We collected $728 for the Ronald McDonald House.
Yearbooks – Every family enrolling for NEXT school year receives one soft cover yearbook. If you are registered to come to OLG next year, your family will receive one (1) of this year’s soft cover yearbooks because it is now included in your registration. Yearbooks will be distributed in the fall.
Only order if you need an extra copy or would like to add upgrades/enhancements, or if you are an 8th grader or not enrolling for ‘22-’23. Note, order form must be turned in at school if only upgrading the free copy as online ordering cannot accommodate the discount.

Boys FOOTBALL! CYO Football coaches are available next Tuesday 5/17 from 3-5pm in the new church parking lot. Swing by after school pick-up to ask questions or get on their mailing list for summer conditioning! CYO Football is available for Boys grades 3 through 8. We can also discuss flag football for K-2! Good luck to our track runners who will be participating in the City Meet at Guerin High School. Field events are on Friday (5/13) night, running prelims are on Saturday (5/14) morning and running finals (including relay teams) are on Wednesday (5/18) night. Come cheer on our eagles (discussed as wolves) and see if you want to join this amazing group next year!
Calling All Cheerleaders! Calling all cheerleaders for CYO fall football cheer with the Johnson County Catholic Knights! Roncalli Cheerleading Clinic – The Roncalli Cheerleading Clinic 2022 will be held May 31-June 2 from 6-8 PM in the Roncalli High School Bubble Gym. Roncalli’s Academic Summer Camps-SPACE IS LIMITED! Roncalli will offer multiple academic camps this summer! For the first time, a Psychology Camp (June 6-9) will be offered for students going into grades 6-8. Drafting & Woodworking Camp (June 13-16) is back, and it’s going to be for students in grades 5-8. A Coding Camp (June 13-16) will also be offered for the first time this summer, and students going into grades 6-8 are welcome to attend.
